Kathleeon Sheldon has been a CSW Research Scholar since 1989. She received her Ph.D. in history from UCLA in 1988. Her books include The A to Z of Women in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is an editor on the listserv H-Luso-Africa, which focuses on the Portuguese-speaking countries of Africa.
