A 32 year old female developed a disseminated bullous fixed drug eruption following the use of pseudoephedrine. She had two
prior episodes of non-bullous fixed drug eruptions following the use of the herbal weight loss formulation, Metabolife, and
the diet aid, Dexatrim, both of which contain sympathomimetic ingredients. Bullous fixed drug eruptions and non-pigmenting
fixed drug eruptions due to sympathomimetics are discussed.
