Guidebook to the Anthropocene Art Museum is a collection of thirteen poems touring a conceptual art museum. Inspired by Natalie Diaz’s “The American Museum of Water” from Postcolonial Love Poem, the artworks imagine how different media can represent byproducts of the Anthropocene epoch: pollution, ecological degradation, displacement, and the exploitation of nature.

This thesis is an exploration of the methods people use by which to understand themselves against the backdrop of society. It looks at the language and images available to young people in order to ask questions around whether we are all just using the tools we have available: to what extent anyone is collaging the world around them into their own identity. Through repetition and doubling, this work confuses any straightforward narrative or argument, aiming instead for community. For ceremony.

Utopia Faces is a collection of interconnected, memoiristic essays. These essays explore the shifting parameters of race and gender by rereading texts in the romance genre. Unifying themes across essays include illness, a critique of knowledge-formation, and the racial implications of utopian visions.
