The UCSC Library has been engaged in a project to develop plugins for Omeka, an open-source application for digital collections and exhibits. This Omeka Curator Dashboard project will produce 15 plugins aimed to enhance curatorial workflows in Omeka, facilitate the import and export of digital objects to and from Omeka, and ease metadata creation and editing within Omeka.
In this presentation, UCSC Librarians explain how the plugins developed as part of the Omeka Curator Dashboard project can be used to move content into Omeka from external systems or applciaitons or push digital objects from Omeka into preservation repositories.
