On the verge of death, Alzheimer-suffering Mr. Elton Norton realizes he may have made a few critical mistakes. Unfortunately, death has him by the wrinkled throat. His will cannot be changed. His regrets cannot be remedied. His mistakes creep through the lives of his hooker's middle-aged husband, Chris; the recently widowed Big David; and thirty-year-old Malena. Over a whirlwind two days, Chris, Big David and Malena bumble through attempts to right their own screwy lives. Malena is forced to beg help from her former fiancé when she loses Elton's ashes. If she fails to replace them in time for his funeral, she'll be evicted from her apartment and forced into hobo-hood. Big David accepts a humiliating job as a dancing monkey in order to support his son, but is still unable to pay off a loan from shark Fast Cash Freddie. His best friend suggests they hijack a slot machine. Chris spends his days rejecting health insurance claims. When he falls in lust with the underage McDonalds fry girl, he surges with hope--the kind of hope one needs to foil a boss and reveal a cheating wife's past.
