Desperate

You hear the sound of birds chirping outside. [[Wake up.]]

As your eyes open, you see that your wife is in a hospital bed. You stare at her and begin to remember the events that occurred yesterday. [[Stand up and walk up to your sleeping wife.]] [[Look around.]]

From encountering your wife for the first time to marrying her, all the memories of the time you both had start to flood into your head. You love your wife so much that you can't bare to lose her. You ask yourself "What can I do?" 5 minutes had passed and your tears start to clear up. Not wanting to bother your wife, you walk back to the chair you slept on and fall back asleep. A few weeks have passed and your wife was granted to go back home. You packed and loaded all your wife's belongings in the car and started to drive to your house. As your driving, you see that your wife is staring endlessly at the cars passing by. You [[reach]] for your wife's hand to comfort her.

As you continue to drive, you begin to think of what you can do. "What even is this disease?" you ask yourself. From that question alone, you decide to become curious if there is a cure. You wake up in the middle of the night due to a nightmare of losing your wife. As your wife sleeps next to you, you are glad that it was just a dream. You try to fall back asleep, but you are unable to as a result of overthinking about your wife's disease. [[Grab your laptop.]]

"You don't need to know who I am, but I'm a druggist." he or she says. You don't know how to respond, but yet your curious about what this leads to. "Maybe this druggist can help?" you ask yourself. [["What do you want from me?"]]

"I've seen you around lurking in Reddit and other websites about this 'unknown disease.'" he or she says. "How? and what the hell is going on?" you ask yourself. [["Who are you?"]]

"I can provide you a cure. But I need you to do various tasks for me" he or she says. [["What?! How do I know if this cure is real? And how can I trust someone from the internet?"]] [[Don't respond]]

"Trust me, I am the only person that has this cure. If you can help me, then I can help you." he or she says. "What the hell should I do? What if the the drug isn't real? What kind of tasks will he or she give?" you say to yourself. You scratch your head and look at your wife. You ponder whether or not to go with this online user's request. [[Ask what tasks you need to do]] [[Exit the the browser, and close the laptop]]

"What tasks do I need to do?.." you message him or her "Great :) There are several tasks that you can choose from, as long as you can finish one I can give you the drug" he or she responds. "Alright...So what are they?" you reply. [["Give me $300,000"]] [["Deliver an item to a person"]] [["Jump off a building"]]

You hear a sigh in the background. Hearing that, you know it's bad. "Sorry Sam, I don't know if there is a cure or some type of medicine that can help your wife at all. I've tried contacting other institutes about this disease, but they don't know either." Your heart is crushed. You didn't want to hear that, yet it happened. "Ah, I see. If there is any news, please do contact me doc. Anyways thank you for the help." you respond. "No problem Sam and will do. Have a nice day," he says. You end the call and put your phone back to your pocket. What can you do? What should you do? [[Go back inside the house and grab your laptop]] [[Be patient and wait if a cure is found]]

"Yes, I am here, have you decided?" he says. "It's the only option I have, what else can I do?" You say to yourself. [[Ask what tasks you need to do]]

You look around and see various objects that have no use to you. [[Stand up and walk up to your sleeping wife.]]

As you walk up to your sleeping wife, you start to remember why she's in the hospital. Just yesterday you've been told by a doctor that your wife has an unknown disease and that she had 9-10 months to live. Remembering what the doctor told you, you start to silently [[cry]].

As you bring the tray of food to your wife, she starts to smile. You two begin to eat. [[Finish eating and drive back home.]]

As you arrive back home, you see that your wife is upset at you for not stopping for food. You try to say something, but she immediately goes inside the house. [[Go inside your house.]]

You bring the sandwich to your wife and she sees that your sorry for not stopping by at a restaurant. She smiles and eates what you've cooked. After a long day. You walk up to your bed and fall [[asleep]].

As you go around the internet, you get this sudden message from a user in Reddit saying "Hey, I know what you're trying to look for, and I have it." [["Who are you?"]] [["What are you talkin about?"]]

As time passes, your wife starts to become sicker and sicker. As 9 months pass, your wife dies from the disease. Bad ending.

You look at your wife and see that shes sleeping silently. You know you want to save her, but how? "Are there more options other than this?" You ask yourself. [[Close your laptop, and sleep for the night]] [[Ask what tasks you need to do]]

You wake up to a smell of fresh eggs. As you open your eyes, you begin to remember the events that happened last night. "What should I do you?" You ask yourself. You stand up and walk up to your wife preparing breakfast. She smiles at you. [[Grab some food and eat]]

As you're eating, your wife gets a call from her mother. Minutes pass and you're staring at your food. You've only eaten half of it but feel like your full. You stand up from the table and go outside for some fresh air. As you stand outside, the messages from the user from Reddit won't go away from your head. You don't trust it, but what other options do you have? [[Call your wife's doctor]] [[Go back inside the house and grab your laptop]]

You grab your phone from your pocket and call your wife's doctor. "Hey doc, it's Sam, I was wondering if I can ask you a question?" you say. "Sure, shoot em" he responds. [["I know you said there isn't a cure to my wife's disease, but do you know any altenative options?"]]

You go back on the reddit and see that the user from before is online. You message him [["Hey are you there?"]]

As you arrive at your house, your wife kisses your cheek and says "Thank you." You smile. [[You park your car and walk with your wife to your house.]]

"I know you're there. If you want this cure, message me back and I'll give you the tasks that needs to be done" he or she says. You are afraid of losing your wife, but you are also afraid of the tasks that he or she may give. "What should I do?" you ask yourself. [[Exit the the browser, and close the laptop]] [[Take some time to think about what you should do]]

You decide to take the task of giving him or her $300,000, but you don't know how to obtain that kind of money. At the moment, you have $124,000 saved up. "Great choice. By next week, I expect to have $300,000 in this PayPal fs12altacc@gmail.com. If I don't see the money by that time, I'll have you killed" he or she says. [["Wait WHAT! KILLED?"]] [["Alright.."]]

You don't have that kind of money and you don't have the confidence to jump off a building, so you decide to deliver an item. "I guess I can deliver an item.," you reply. "Good :) It's a body :D. So please take care of it!" he or she replies. "IT'S A WHAT!!!" you respond. "Yup a body. You're gonna pick it up from a certain place and deliver it to a person. If you don't deliver it in time ill have you killed, but if you do deliver it in time ill send the cure ASAP. Deal?" You don't know if you can deliver a body, but you understand that it wouldn't cost anything. "What should I do?" you ask yourself. [["Alright, I'll do it"]] [["I want to choose a different task"]]

"I have to what!" You reply back "You heard me, you have to jump off a building :)" he or she responds "DO YOU WANT ME TO KILL MYSELF? WHY?" you message back "Yes of course. It's for my own entertainment ^^. Once I know you're actually dead, I'll send over the cure :)" he or she replies back. You don't know whether or not to take the task. You have the desire to save your wife, but you don't want to die. "What should I do?" you ask yourself. "Of course :) Do you think you can get off that easily?" he or she replies. "What do you mean!? The reason why I chose this task is so that I wouldn't be harmed at all" you reply. "Well, that's what you thought. Getting $300,000 would be a bit boring, so I added a little twist ^^" he or she responds. You decide to ask your friends and family for some money throughout the week. The majority of your friends say no due to the amount that you ask, but your parents decide to provide you $100,000. Throughout 2 days, you try to find belongings that you can sell for some money. You go to the pawnshop and sell those belongings, but only obtain $10,000. It was not worth the 2 days, but what can you do? You have until tomorrow, to bring him $300,000. "Hey are you online?" You message him or her. "Of course I am! Do you have my money? If so send it" he or she replies. You send the money over paypal. "Look, um..I couldn't give you exactly $300,000, but that's all I can get.." "Yikes, sorry sir but that won't do" he or she replies back "Wait please! Thats all I have!" You reply back "Sorry :) I specifically asked for $300,000" he or she messages back As your typing up a reply, you hear footsteps behind you. You turn around and see a man with a gun on his right hand. You drop your phone, and as your about to run he shoots you multiple times. You not only got yourself killed, but your wife commits suicide when she finds out about what happened. Bad Ending.

You go on your phone and message him "Hey are you online?" "Of course! Have you sent my money?" he or she responds back. "Yea, I just sent to your paypal email" you respond back "Great! I'll have the cure sent to you in a few days :) Goodbye!" he or she messages back "Wait! You don't even know my address!" You reply You keep sending him or her messages, but never got a reply back. You wait an hour if he or she replied, but as you check your messages the reddit user's username says 'deleted'. All you can do right now is [[wait]].

"Look I sent part of the money, but is there anyway I can lessen the amount?" "Yikes, sorry sir but that won't do" he or she replies back "Wait please! I'll go in debt!" You reply back "Sorry :) I specifically asked for $300,000" he or she messages back As your typing up a reply, you hear footsteps behind you. You turn around and see a man with a gun on his right hand. You drop your phone, and as your about to run he shoots you multiple times. You not only got yourself killed, but your wife commits suicide when she finds out about what happened. Bad Ending.

A couple days have passed and the package from the unknown reddit user came. You open the package and see that it contained a pill bottle only containing one pill. You then proceed to give your wife the pill hoping that its an actual cure. The next day you go to your wife's doctor to for a checkup. After a couple hours of waiting, the doctor comes to your room suprised and tells to you and your wife that she does not have the disease anymore. You then look at your wife and smile. You saved your her. Good Ending.

You understand that in order for your wife to live you needed to kill yourself. You drive up to the highest building in your town and walk inside. While no one is looking, you go to the stairs to your right and start walking up. You finally reach the top, but before you jump you text your wife. You get on your phone and message your wife "Hey hun, I won't be back for a while, but I just want to tell you that I love you and that I'll see you later okay?" After texting her, you drop your phone to the ground and walk towards the edge. As you look down, you see that its a large drop. You think to yourself that it's going to be okay and that your wife will be saved. You walk over the edge and fall to your [[death]].

The Reddit user sees the news about a person committing suicide. Knowing that it was you, he sends the cure to your house. Although the cure was sent to your house, your wife became depressed and cared less about her disease. In the end, you not only killed yourself, but your wife committed suicide as well after a couple of days. Bad Ending.

"Great! The body is at an abandoned building near Dunkin Donuts in your town. Grab the body bag, and then deliver it to this address. 24562 Sabelis Street." he or she replied back As your typing up a reply, he or she sends another message "Do it now." Reading that message, you start to shake. You don't know if you can do this, but you already agreed to it. You run to the living room and grab the keys to your car that was on the counter. You go inside your car and start [[driving]] to the abandoned building.

You finally arrive at the abandoned building that the Reddit user mentioned. You park your car and proceed to walk inside the building. As your walking, you see two body bags on the ground. You shiver knowing that there are two dead bodies in front of you. The Reddit user said that it was supposed to be only one body, but there's two. "What should I do?" you ask yourself. [[Grab the body bag to the left]] [[Grab the body bag to the right]]

You grab the body bag to the left and put it inside your car. You start [[driving to the address]] that was given to you.

You finally arrived at the address that was given to you. As you park your car, you look to your left and see a man waiting outside. "Is that the person?" You think to yourself. You walk up to the person waiting outside and mention the reddit user and the item that was suppose to be delivered. He nods. You open your trunk and [[open]] up the body bag.

You look down and see blood on your shirt. You then look to your right to see the person that was supposed to receive the item smiling. He stabs you again, and again. You fall and [[bleed to death]].

Your wife finds out that you have been murdered and realizes that she has no will to live without you. After a couple of days, your wife grabs some drugs and overdoses herself to death. Bad Ending.

You open your trunk and open up the body bag. As you open it, you see that there's a body of an old man. You look to your right and see the man smile. He nods again and proceeds to pull out his phone. After what it looks like to be typing, he grabs the body bag and goes inside his house. I [[go back inside my car]].

As you start the engine of your car, you feel your phone vibrate. You then pull out your phone and see that the Reddit user messaged you saying "Item received :) Give me a few days and the cure will be shipped. Pleasure doing business!" You try to message back, but receive a message saying "User is unavailable." [[You drive back home]].

As you arrive back at your house, you try to message the reddit user again. Looking at your messages, you realize that the username of the reddit user changed to 'deleted'. All you can do right now is [[wait]].
